I've talked so many times about posting my work online. And the time has arrived in the form of 2 mini ads. I had so much fun working on these and I hope the end result shows that :D

The 1st one was a visual effects job. I just needed to flip the mini up on the side of the wall. So after many discussion and loads of hands movements (that's my way of showing how the car will do what it does) we got Dan McArthur http://www.dopdanmac.com to shoot, Craig Proudley Directed with Scott Oxford producing http://www.newwordorder.com.au and I sat around yelling out the cg acting. I brought Pete (blackbrow) http://www.blackbrow.com/ along, who is now working at InVision media, to help out with the vfx look and style and all that stuff :D We used 3dsmax with Vray to create this look and we had a very tight turn around. The end result needed to look rough, real and spontaneous .. so I hope it achieved it :D

The other mini ad was Scott approaching InVision media and asking Pete and I to do what we do best. So after kicking around a few concepts on how the mini got up on the wall we settled on what you see here. Pete had a very strong sense of direction on this one so we went with a very typical french chic feel but using the best of both 2d and 3d to bring it all together. We used 3dsmax for all the backgrounds and then Illustrator and After Effects for all the 2d Elements. The end result is something both Pete and I are proud of and the 1st time we've worked together like this. I'm hoping it won't be the last, and I've asked him to work on a clip idea for the near future .. :D

Thank you everyone for being so interested in what I do, It's not just music :D I hope to bring the 2 together very soon as I have a surprise to unleash on the web on the weekend :D so stay tuned.
